The Soviet Union was a political and economic union comprised of Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Estonia, Georgia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Latvia, Lithuania, Moldova, Russia, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Ukraine, and Uzbekistan. The union was founded in 1922 and was characterised by a command economy; an economic system in which the state manages resources directly and allocates them to its citizens. The Soviet Union collapsed in 1991.

For the purposes of this debate, psychological account of identity is one in which the primary determinant of a person’s identity is their mind. Under this account a person ceases to exist if their mind is altered such that they no longer maintain psychological continuity with themselves (ie: complete alteration of memories, your mind being replaced with that of another person, death, etc.)
The bodily account of identity is one in which a person’s identity is determined by the totality of their body. Under this account person ceases to if and only if their body is no longer alive.

The EU’s ReArm Europe plan has two main prongs.
